i like this artwork. i am an artist and i was in afghanistan in 1977 at herat and khandahar where i did quick portraits of afghani men. pastel sketches in black and white on a grey background. i hope to one day return to afghanistan. look at the photos of your country on LUKE POWELL’s website. wonderful pics of a beautiful land. my heart is with you for a peaceful future.

i found this site whilst looking for koochi dresses. i had one in the 70s and i always remembered how lovely they are and wanted to show a friend.
